In celebration of Breastfeeding Awareness Week you are invited to “The Wigan Big Feed”  at Grand Arcade on 28th June from 10am until 11.30am.The 'Wigan Big Feed' will also include a dancing Flash Mob

Authors Sue Smart and Richard Bothway Howard have recently released ‘It’s turned out nice again’, a book about the famous George Formby.  The authors will be in the centre on Saturday 18th May for a signing session George Formby fans have the opportunity to buy the book first at Waterstones and then get it signed by the authors situated in front of the George Formby statue on the mall at from 12pm to 2pm.

Grand Arcade have linked up with Operation Shoebox, a Voluntary Orgainisation that co-ordinates the sending of care parcels to British troops serving abroad, especially in Afghanistan.The campaign launched on Saturday 9th February in the centre.  Shoppers are able to bring their shoebox in to the centre filled with everyday items such as deodorant, sweets, razors and wet wipes. The boxes will then be sent to the? b?rave service? men and women around the globe including Afghanistan.
