Describe your business: The Perfume Shop stock ladies and men’s fragrances, with nearly 130 different luxury name brands including Hugo Boss, Paco Rabanne, Gucci, Dior, Tom Ford and Victor& Rolf. Our experts will offer to lovingly wrap every customers purchase in our signature wrapping paper for free, it’s the little things that make us stand out. We also offer 15% off purchases to Blue Light and Armed Forces card members and 10% student discount with UNiDAYS.
Tell us about the history of your business: The Perfume Shop was founded in 1992 and are the largest specialist fragrance retailer with 215 stores nationwide. We’re a large organisation that’s why we are so competitive when it comes to price.
How many members of staff do you employ? We have a team of five who work in our Grand Arcade store, most of our employees live locally, are always smiling and as a collective our 5 members of staff have 88 years worth of experience working in the fragrance industry. Our staff are trained and developed so that they are the most knowledgeable sales advisors within the perfume industry. Not only do we have the experience of selling perfumes, but we also have the expertise to match which is really important when we are helping customers choose a new fragrance.
What’s the best thing about working for The Perfume Shop? We are like one big family. We all share a genuine passion for perfume, people, and customer service.
